Strategic advisory for companies, funds, and investors seeking partnerships and market access across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Petra Investors & Co. is a London-based investment advisory firm established in August 2024, with active engagement in Seoul and mandates spanning Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. We operate through a senior network of advisors with deep sector and geographic expertise, focused on situations where direct relationships and cross-cultural fluency make a material difference to the outcome.
Korea is a particular area of depth. We maintain active relationships with Korean institutional investors, corporates, and market participants — giving clients access to a market that is difficult to navigate from the outside.
Relationships with institutional investors and family offices across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia — including Korean pension funds, insurers, and asset managers.
Connections to corporates and strategic players across multiple sectors and geographies, with particular depth in Korean conglomerates and mid-market companies.
Practical guidance for clients entering unfamiliar markets — whether a European business in Korea, or a Korean company expanding into Europe or the Gulf.
Deal opportunities from Korea and across Asia, covering healthcare, industrials, consumer, technology, and real assets.
We work on a select number of mandates at any time, across M&A, market access, and cross-border strategy.
Strategic advice on cross-border transactions — identifying potential counterparties, navigating commercial complexity, and supporting negotiations across different markets and cultures.
Advising companies and funds on how to position themselves for engagement with capital markets — including narrative, messaging, and identifying the right audiences for their stage and sector.
Strategic guidance for companies entering new markets — mapping the landscape, identifying relevant partners, and developing a considered approach to commercial entry.
Advising fund managers and companies on how to approach and communicate with institutional audiences across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
Advisory for biotech and medtech companies on cross-border licensing, international partnerships, and strategic positioning in global markets.
The most valuable capital in cross-border work is not financial. It is the trust of people on both sides of the table.
That trust — across markets, languages, and cultures — is what Petra was built to carry.
Junghwa Oh is a Korea-born, London-based investment professional with
over two decades of experience across financial markets, cross-border
transactions, and international business development. Her combination of
institutional finance, on-the-ground Korea experience, and global network
underpins the work Petra does.
Most recently, she served as CEO of Infinitum Investors Group from 2022
to 2024, having joined the firm in 2019. In that role, she advised clients
ranging from large conglomerates to early-stage companies on market access
and strategic positioning across global markets, with a particular focus on
high-growth sectors in Korea — including technology, biotechnology, healthcare,
and consumer. Before that, she spent close to a decade at the European Bank for
Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London, working on cross-border transactions
in both equity and debt, and successfully raising the EBRD's first equity fund
of EUR 350m. Before joining the EBRD, she was a Reuters correspondent based in Seoul, covering
macroeconomics and bond markets. She holds an MBA from London Business School
and a law degree from Korea.
If you have an enquiry about a cross-border transaction, strategic partnership, or market access challenge, we would welcome a preliminary discussion. All enquiries are treated confidentially.
